Eligibility Criteria – B.Sc. Nursing (Basic Programme)

1. Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Compulsory subjects:
  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Biology (Botany & Zoology)
  • English (must have passed English individually)

2. Minimum Qualifying Marks

• General / Open Category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
• Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): Minimum 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
• PwD Candidates: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in PCB (as per applicable norms).

3. Age Criteria

• The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
• Maximum age limit (if applicable) shall be as per State Government / Nursing Council norms.

4. Medical Fitness

• The applicant must be medically fit and may be required to submit a medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner at the time of admission.

5. Entrance Examination Requirement

• Admission is generally based on the State Common Entrance Test (CET) / MH-Nursing CET conducted by the Maharashtra State authorities.
• Candidates must qualify the entrance examination and participate in the centralized counselling process for seat allotment.
