Eligibility Criteria – B.Sc. Nursing (Basic Programme)
1. Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Compulsory subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology (Botany & Zoology)
- English (must have passed English individually)
2. Minimum Qualifying Marks
- General / Open Category: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC): Minimum 40% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English.
- PwD Candidates: Minimum 45% aggregate marks in PCB (as per applicable norms).
3. Age Criteria
- The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
- Maximum age limit (if applicable) shall be as per State Government / Nursing Council norms.
4. Medical Fitness
- The applicant must be medically fit and may be required to submit a medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner at the time of admission.
5. Entrance Examination Requirement
- Admission is generally based on the State Common Entrance Test (CET) / MH-Nursing CET conducted by the Maharashtra State authorities.
- Candidates must qualify the entrance examination and participate in the centralized counselling process for seat allotment.
