Anti Ragging Measures at TCON

- At TCON, strict implementation of Anti-Ragging rules is ensured to maintain a safe, secure, and disciplined campus environment.
- During the Orientation Ceremony, students are thoroughly briefed about the Anti-Ragging rules and regulations, objectives, preventive measures, and the strict disciplinary actions that will be taken if any act of ragging is proven, whether on or off campus.
- Attendance at the Anti-Ragging awareness session conducted by the Anti-Ragging Committee members is mandatory for all students.
- From the first day of admission, students are guided by committee members to complete the Anti-Ragging undertaking form. In case of any issues, the Class Coordinator forwards the matter to the Discipline Committee for appropriate action.
- The institution conducts surprise visits to hostels and common areas and maintains proper attendance and discipline records to ensure compliance with Anti-Ragging policies
- Any student experiencing ragging may immediately report the matter to any member of the Anti-Ragging Committee.
- Complaints may be submitted in writing, through telephone communication, or verbally. Strict confidentiality of the complainant is maintained. Based on the complaint, an immediate preliminary inquiry is conducted by the Anti-Ragging Committee.
- If any individual is found guilty of ragging, he or she will be rusticated from the college and may be handed over to the police for further legal proceedings, as per institutional and legal guidelines.
- The college also organizes regular counselling sessions and Mentor–Mentee peer group meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, providing students with a platform to openly discuss their concerns with the respective faculty members.
